Steam Deck and handhelds
Valve rates Well Dweller Verified. One launch-day forum post reported the game running in slow motion on a Deck, while a demo player called it flawless on Deck, so treat the slow-motion report as a single case for now. On the ROG Ally X, one player found cloud saves did not carry over from their PC; Steam lists Steam Cloud support.

Almost certainly. The minimum is Windows 10, a 2008-era dual-core CPU, 4 GB of RAM, a 1 GB GeForce GT 220 or Radeon HD 4650 and 1 GB of storage.
Is Well Dweller Steam Deck Verified?
Yes. Valve's compatibility check rates it Verified: the default controller layout works, on-screen glyphs match the Deck and text is legible.
Is Well Dweller locked to 60 FPS?
Yes, on PC. It is the most-replied technical thread on the Steam forum; no unlocked frame rate had been announced when we checked.
Does Well Dweller support ultrawide?
No. 21:9 monitors show black bars at the sides.
Does it work with a controller?
Yes. Steam lists full controller support, including DualShock and DualSense, and there is a keyboard-only option.
