How the courses work
Trials are short movement gauntlets. A common complaint on the Steam forum is that there is almost no margin: hitting spikes costs so much time that the run is effectively over, and you reset manually. Treat them like the Hunter chase — learn the route first, then go for time.
- Come back later. Several trials are easier once you have Hover or Climb even if they are technically reachable earlier.
- Mark the door. Put a map marker on any trial you skip so the reward does not slip off your 100% list.
- Slide is invulnerable in normal play, but one demo player reported spike crushers in a hidden room still hurting them mid-slide.

10: Night Garden, Hunter's Cabin, The Bog, The Drains, Gravenvalley, Midnight Drench, Desiccated Castle, Autumn Forest, The Docks, Dollmaker's House.
What do time trials give you?
Beating the course in time opens a door with a reward behind it — spirits, a trinket (Fish Hook in The Drains) or a workshop token, depending on the trial.
Can you replay a time trial?
Yes. A June 2026 demo update added the ability to replay time trials, and the course can be restarted if you fail.
Do I need all time trials for 100%?
Several spirits, a trinket and a workshop token sit behind trial doors, so the collectible achievements need them even though no achievement names the trials themselves.
